Development of Ammonia Decomposition System Technology - CO2-Free Ammonia Green Chemical Production - Ammonia Decomposition
Our company will hold a seminar on "Development of CO2-Free Ammonia Production Technology by the JGC Group."
Ammonia is used as a raw material for fertilizers and chemical products, and technological development for its use as a power generation and marine fuel is progressing. Additionally, its potential as a hydrogen carrier is also anticipated, with an expected increase in consumption in the future. Furthermore, in the pursuit of a decarbonized society, ammonia that does not emit CO2 during production is particularly expected. This presentation will detail the trends in the currently developing CO2-free ammonia production technologies, specifically blue and green ammonia production technologies, the JGC Group's efforts in developing CO2-free ammonia production technology, the demonstration of green chemical manufacturing supported by the NEDO Green Innovation Fund, and the research and development of large-scale externally heated ammonia decomposition hydrogen production technology aimed at building a hydrogen supply chain.
